Tomas Drabek, MD, PhD, FASA

is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. In his clinical research, he explores the use of biomarkers for prognostication, while his experimental research is focused on improving outcomes from prolonged cardiac arrest rescued with either standard CPR or ECPR in small and large animal models, targeting neuroinflammation and systemic cytokine response in post-cardiac arrest syndrome.
